Scaling Spreadsheet for Teachers

Written By: stephanie on September 11, 2008 No Comment

MarksI was recently requested by a teacher to set up a spreadsheet to assist in scaling an examination result. The spreadsheet allows the user to enter in student numbers, student names, the original marks, the original scale (total marks for the assessment). There are then a number of columns with different scaling ratios applied, and the teacher just needs to choose the most appropriate (based on their own criteria). Hope you find it useful, and if you need more information on the scaling algorithm I used, please go here.
